How To Ride The Bus

Bus Transit Seminar
Take the Time to learn how to Take the Bus!  Do you really need your car every day?  Do you want to go to LaConner, Bellingham, or Everett but don’t want to drive? The 409 bus or the 410 bus with stops on 6th Street near our Ferry Terminal will take you easily and very inexpensively to many of Anacortes’ most popular destinations and beyond.

Skagit Transit Travel Trainer, Susan Libby, will be at the Guemes Church lecture room at 12:30 on October 24th, where she will present a free informational program.  She will explain the detailed routes of the 409 and 410 buses and how they connect to other routes to take you to other parts of the county and state.  Susan will also discuss the Para Transit program, van pools, and guided travel-training opportunities.  Free brochures will be available to guide further travel.

This travel seminar is hosted by Groundfloor Guemes as a community service.  It follows the Guemes Connects Gathering Lunch that day.  You are welcome to attend the lunch, served from 11:15 to 12:30 (suggested donation $5) and stay for the presentation, or arrive at the church at 12:30 to attend the free program.   Come!  Have all your bus travel questions answered!
